Requirements for using desk.ly

Do I need special software or hardware to use desk.ly?

No. desk.ly works on almost all devices and doesn’t require any special hardware/servers on site. The only requirements are a web browser and Internet connection.

Set-up

How long will it take to set up desk.ly?

Set-up of the booking platform takes around one hour on average. After you have created your company, you can immediately create locations and floors and upload room plans. You can then set up the bookable spaces. The time required will increase depending on the size of the company.

Are there additional costs for the set-up?

No. There are no additional costs for the set-up.

Do I need to have knowledge of programming for the set-up?

No. All settings and set-up steps can be carried out via the user interface.

Use

Can I use my own corporate identity with desk.ly?

You can use the White Label function in desk.ly. You can freely define in which colour the tool is displayed, which logo is shown to the users and on which domain the platform is accessible.

Can I enter information about the equipment or features of individual workplaces?

You can freely define which features or equipment are assigned to a workplace. When you create a workplace, you can add the appropriate equipment right away, such as: Mac monitor, window seat, communicative, seat in marketing.

What data can my employees see in desk.ly?

You can choose which information your employees can see and edit. Roles (e.g. administrator) can be defined and assigned to individual employees.

Does desk.ly offer the possibility to anonymise booking information?

As an administrator, you are free to define how you want to use our tool. To allow the anonymisation of bookings, you can select the function ‘anonymisation’ in our system. This function hides the names of employees.
