How do I assign the manager role as an admin?

As an admin, you can assign the manager role who can then access a subset of the admin area.

Let's get started:

1. Log into desk.ly as an administrator.

2. Hover over the admin area with your mouse and click on "Users".

3. Click on "Edit" next to the user you wish to appoint as a manager.

4. Click on "Manager" in the "Rights conferred" section and confirm your selection by selecting "Save User".

5. Congratulations, you have appointed a manager who now has access to the following areas in the admin section.

Important note:

A manager does not have the authority to appoint other managers or administrators. This is a privilege reserved for administrators only.
