Who is NOZ/mh:n MEDIEN?
NOZ/mh:n MEDIEN is a media group and comprises 49 companies at around 60 locations. 42 daily newspapers and 44 weekly papers, as well as 29 magazines and 15 podcasts are behind NOZ/mh:n MEDIEN. In addition, an agency network consisting of experts for digital, travel, horses and dogs belongs to this media group. The established business of the newspaper publisher provides the necessary security to think ahead with products and develop new offers. The media group employs over 3,000 people and more than 9,000 delivery staff.
The beginnings of mh:n MEDIEN go back to the middle of the 19th century and the first edition of the Osnabruecker Tageblatt was printed on 1st October 1884. Challenges during World War 1 and 2 followed until the foundation stone of today's media group was laid in 1967. In 2016, NOZ Medien merged with companies that had previously been bundled under sh:z das medienhaus and medienhaus:nord. The result is medien holding:nord GmbH (mh:n Medien for short). The company continues to grow in the following years through the acquisition of shares in netspirits and edogs, the founding of the GROW Digital Group by MSO Digital, netspirits and basecom, and the founding of brandence.
