Simple login with Single Sign On (SSO) - desk sharing is that easy!
To make the handling and user guidance of desk sharing as simple as possible, we developed the SSO for Google and Microsoft. When using one of the two services, employees can access all services for which the person is locally authorised with the login after a single authentication. This saves, both the employees and the company, having to set unnecessary different passwords and a single login is sufficient for the use of company-related services, such as the desk sharing tool desk.ly. Within the services, it is also possible that the identity of the logged-in employee is passed on to the layers constituting the service without the user's view being made known.
In our desk sharing tool, the decentralised authentication system "OpenID" is a new addition. The system is based on URLs and also enables quick login with a single identity to several services, so the username and password do not have to be entered again. This allows you and your staff to have an uncomplicated and easy desk sharing experience with our application.
The purpose of the Single Sign On procedure is to support the employees or users so that the correct authenticated login only has to be carried out once with the help of a verification procedure. Subsequent authentications with online services are handled by the SSO mechanism and the login is automatic.
